London Broil - French Style

1 Flank Steak

cup olive oil

cup burgundy wine

2 tablespoons minced onion

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoons sea salt

5 drops of Tabasco sauce

Cooking Method

Score both sides of the steaks in a diamond pattern about ⅛-inch deep. 


Combine all the ingredients in a large shallow baking dish. 

  1. Coat the steaks with the marinade and turn four times during a 2-hour period of marinating in the refrigerator (can be marinated overnight). 

  2. Remove the steaks from the marinade and broil 3-5 minutes on each side. 


To serve, cut diagonally into thin slices.


Serve with baked potato and green salad.
