Old-Fashioned Vegetable Beef Soup

Ingredients
1½ pounds beef
8 cups water
3 stalks celery, chopped
3 large carrot, chopped
2 red onion, chopped
1 (28 oz. can) italian style tomato, undrained and chopped
1 bay leaf
1½ teaspoons sea salt
½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ teaspoon marjoram, dried
2 cups frozen green lima beans
1 cup frozen kernel corn
1 cup frozen green peas |
Cooking Method
Combine first 12 ingredients in a large
Dutch oven.

Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1
hour.

Add lima beans, corn, and peas.

Return to a boil; reduce heat and
simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
