Ingredients

pounds tomato, ripe peeled
4½
cups sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon, broken
1½
cups vinegar
½
teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cloves |
Cooking Method
Scald and peel tomatoes and then quarter them.

Place in a cooking
pan and add sugar, vinegar, and spices.

Cook slowly till thickened
and put in jars.
