Tomato Jam

So you think you've eat 'maters all ways possible, huh?  Wal, mebbe this is a new wrinkle fer you.

Ingredients


4 pounds tomato, ripe peeled
4
cups sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon, broken
1
cups vinegar
teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cloves

Cooking Method


Scald and peel tomatoes and then quarter them. 

  1. Place in a cooking pan and add sugar, vinegar, and spices. 

  2. Cook slowly till thickened and put in jars.
